
Filmed in a rose garden in Los Angeles, Sachi plays the violin in this video as Mary J. Blige sings a cover of Aretha Franklin’s hit, which was written by Carole King and Gerry Goffin.

Sachi opened the show at Wembley with the opening bars of Elgar’s Cello Concerto, but in the key of Eb minor instead of the original E minor, so that it led into the opening of “Runaway Horses.” This was the Runaway Horses World Tour.

Filmed on the Arsenio Hall show, Sachi plays the cello solo on the second song “Pearls.”

Sachi was the cello soloist with Yanni for two world tours before Yanni started touring with a whole orchestra.

John and Sachi were honored to play NPR’s Jazz Night in America’s annual tribute to those we lost in 2021. We performed John’s composition “One More Angel,” and filmed the video in Upton Bass String Instrument Co.’s beautiful showroom in Mystic, Connecticut.
As part of the concert for the Gustavo Casanave Quartet, Sachi plays a solo at the Appel Room at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York. Other musicians on the concert were Gustavo Casanave, piano, Nick Danielson, violin and John Patitucci, bass.
